What an honor to work with one of the fab new lines from Basic Grey!!!!!!! I was given the Lauderdale line. It is so full of bold fun colors and patterns, wonderful for children, teens, or summer! Here is what I came up with....
It is Hip Hop time again ladies so grab your Bunny Ears and come on a fun hop with us to learn lots of incredible techniques to use all those fun border punches that you have. Send this to firstname.lastname@example.org for a chance to win our grand prize and leave comments on our facebook and all of the design team for 2 more chances to win your choice of a pack of glittery goodness. Ok Ladies, as you can see, it is time for another fun Hop from Best Creation. I have a secret letter for you to write down....now are you ready????? Psssssst....the letter is "E". Ok, now write it down, follow the correct order and you can win the following....
1st place wins 1 complete set of Robot and Ballerina and 2nd place for facebook comments is (2 winners) their choice of either Ballerina or Robot.
Now since this Hop is about Die-Cuts, I used two of my favorites....Effervescent, and Notebook Edge, one by Fiskars and the other by EK Success. I love using border dies! They add so much texture and interest to a page. I hope you enjoy my layout and pull out those dies for your next project.
Your next place to go is over at Alicia Berry's blog. So hop on over there for your next letter and your next tip on how to use those die-cuts.
Hey Folks....Happy Easter to all of you!!!! Today I wanted to show you a couple of projects I made with the so very awesome Robot collection from Best Creation. What's even better is when you mix BC papers with a SRM Stickers and Tubes. I'd say...they are Out of this World!!!!!
Oh and let me share a little secret with you....you see this card above????? It was easy peasy because I used a new cricut cartridge calley "Just Because". Not only does it cut out the shapes of your cards, it makes the envelopes, sweet little pictures and sentiments....the possiblities are endless and it is my new best friend. LOL!!!! Have a wonderful day!
Isn't it terrible when you forget something???? Or you have that nagging thought in the back of your mind that you may or may not have forgotten to do something. Well, sometimes I feel like I lost my noggin' somewhere between now and last year. LOL!!!! I am so ADD that it is scary. Now I have a son and a daughter who are ADD. I think we all learned our coping skills together but yet, I still have my moments just as they do.
Anywhoooo, I was looking at some cards I had done and absolutely could not remember if I had shared them before. But, I figure if you have seen them, maybe someone else hasn't. So, I am going to share them anyway. I hope you enjoy!
Please know that if you ever have any questions about what I make, just ask in the comment section and leave me an email address and I will be more than happy to answer you back.
Lastly, I want to wish you and your family a Very Happy Easter. I know I am very thankful for my Lord and Saviour and His sacrafice. Blessings to you all!!!!!
I have to say that I was beyond thrilled when I got my hands on the new "Robot" papers from Best Creation. I am always such a sucker for boy papers and these did not disappoint. Better yet, prior to receiving this wonderful package of goodies, our family along with grandparents had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Space Center of Houston. It was so amazing!!!!!!! We toured real life training facilities and then the kids got to run around a playground of interactive devices that allowed them to see what life was like in space o r on a space shuttle. What a wonderful day we had!!! Ok, back to these papers.....I finally get to reveal my page!!!! Once again we worked with sketches which is the theme of the week so here is my layout and the sketch I used.
I hope you like it because I loved making it and there will be more where that came from. You must check out this line and some of the other fab creations from the design team HERE.
Lately, I have been in the mood for making cards...especially with stamped images. I know this is not a new concept, but I have been terrified of this side of paper crafting so I am truly happy that I am conquering my fears. Anyway, last week I received these "oh so elegant" stamps from Stampin'Up and I just had to pull them out and play. The idea of my card comes from various cards out of the Stampin'Up catalog. I just love that they inpire you with so many creative ideas!!! Anyway, here is one that I did and for the sentiment I used......you guessed it, SRM Stickers!!!!! I thought it would be cool to combine the two.
This is the stamp set I used called "Nature Walk". An absolute gorgeous stamp set!!!!
Don't forget...I am still having a drawing for a set of stamps from Stampin'Up along with so surprise goodies! All You have to do is sign up for my Newsletter on my Stampin'Up website HERE.
I am so thrilled to finally be able to reveal my first sketch / layout for Sketchabilities!!!!! Karan has such beautiful sketches and I am so honored to be a part of the design team. And guess what.....not only does Sketchabilites have a fab blog, a hoppin' forum to visit all your friends, but NOW, TODAY, Karan reveals Sketchabilities' very own Gallery!!!!!!!!! We are so very excited and hope that you will be too. Not only do you get to see today's reveal, we hope that you will share your take on the sketch by uploading it to the gallery. So, enough of my rambling.....here is my take on sketch #45.
I found another tutorial that I thought you might enjoy. Tami is a fellow Stampin'Up demonstrator and I just loooove her tutorials!!!!! I don't know about you but I have noticed a huge trend growing with stamps and card making. Even Two Peas has delegated an entire section of their site to cards and products needed for card making. That's where I come in as well....I want you to know that I am going to start working more with stamps from Stampin'Up and try to show you the fab products that we have that are comparable and in my opinion, the best stamps out there. Also, I would love to be your personal demonstrator. We have wonderful card stock, stamp pads of all colors, and of course fantastic stamps (clear or wood mount).
If I can be of any help, just know that I will do my best to work with you in any way that I can. As you can tell, I love this craft and I enjoy growing and pursuing all avenues that this hobby has to offer. Please check out my website in the upper left corner of my blog and I would love for you to register for my monthly newsletter. I am also going to hold a drawing....from now till the end of the month, whoever registers for my newsletter, I will have a drawing for a set of Stampin'Up birthday stamps along with a fab RAK of goodies that I stumbled across during my move. Good luck to you all and thank you for always stopping by my little spot of the world. I appreciate each and every one of you!!!!!!!
Hey!!!! Hope your day is scrappy and productive. Speaking of productive, I have a layout to share with you. The other day I found this fabulous sketch over at Sketch Inspiration so I had to play!!!!
Don't ya just love this sketch???? Well, I had some new Echo Park papers that I was just itching to use. And don't you just love my sweet Abigail? This picture was taken on our first day at Disneyworld. Abigail, Momma, and I were in awe of this magical resort. Oh how I wish we could go back!!!! Anywhoooo, I just love how my page turned out and every bit of it was made from the fab Echo Park line "For the Record".
So, if your looking for inspiration, take a look at the fab Sketch Inspiration site. Tell em, Kim sent ya!!!!!
Good Morning!!!!! Today is much better for me for two reasons....1. It is not Monday...2. I am 3 weeks post op from my lumbar fusion and the recovery process has been much better than I expected.
Ok, on to all things Scrappy!!!! Once again SRM paired us up with another fantastic company. This week we get to show you how we crossed over with Pink Paislee!!!!! Oh, I just loved working on this particular project. Don't you just love when things flow? Well that was how I felt when working on my layout. So, I will stop gabbing and let you see what I did.....
Ahhhhhh, this just makes me smile. While your at it, go take a look at what the other Design Team members came up with, HERE. You will surely be inspired.
Happy Monday everyone!!!! Are you suffering from Mon-day-itis like me? I am never very good when it comes to starting off my week. There is just something about giving up a perfectly good weekend and like most we do not want to give up a good thing.
Well, seems I have a little catching up to do. I just realized that I did not share a recent combo event that SRM stickers had with Cosmo Cricket. Can you imagine my squeal of delight when I received a fab box of goodies from Cosmo?????? Not only did they give me 1 new line, they gave me all 3 of their new lines!!!!!! Enough of my chatter.....here is the layout I used for the fab crossover event....
Lastly, here is an Easter project also done for SRM Stickers. You name it, they have it. Love these tubes and all the many creative ways to work with them. They work perfectly for any occasion.
That's all for now ....Hope you find your Monday more productive then mine.
