It is that time...today is the day. Reveal day for Scraps of Darkness!!!! Are you Ready???? Let's begin shall we??!!
First, as you know we have the Spectacular kit....Remember When
Next, we have a fabulous new sketch to go with this amazing kit. It is designed by the fabulous Charlotte Jenkins otherwise known as "Suepup" in the scrappy world. Now, be sure to join in this month and load your layout in our gallery for the monthly sketch challenge.
Here is my first design based on the sketch....
"Love This Shot"
This layout is full of sprays, stamps, and texture. Plus, I used some of the distress paint that was offered in the "Color" add on of the kit. I just love all the orange, browns, and turquoise colors in these Bo Bunny papers.
This first close-up shows the yummy flowers offered in the "Flora and Fauna" add on. Also, you can see the awesome texture and dimension with all the layers of media.
Look at those cute stickers and buttons offered in the main kit...soooo sweet!!!!!
Now on to my next layout....
"Snap Shots"
This layout, I added a little bit of modeling paste, along with some stamps, mist, and again I used some of the distress paint. FYI, I used a toilet paper roll, rolled some paint along the edges and voila...instant "cup stain" stamp! I loved how the Kaisercraft polka dot paper completely matched the sweater on Abigail's friend...really made my picture POP!!!! The background of my picture was a huge ad on a wall in between 2 buildings. The girls got a kick out of posing in front of the models.
Ok, my last project.....
There are a couple of techniques that went into making these tags, but I don't want to overload you too much so I will save that for a later post.
I hope you enjoyed my reveal and I hope you will go over to our home page to see what everyone else has done as well. Just follow my link at the top of this post and it will take you right on over there.
There is so much offered in this kit that you could do at least 8-10 pages. I have some more projects brewing so stay tuned!!!!!!
