A Tribute to Some of my Guys

The last couple of days I have been working on some layouts, spending some quality "ME" time. Prior to that I have spent a lot of time going back and forth to the doctor's office. Unfortunately I ran into a little bit of a hiccup after a minor surgery I had almost two weeks ago. But things are beginning to look up for which I am very thankful. Have you noticed that sometimes you scrap how you feel? I for one have noticed that about myself. I personally think it is theraputic. One day I will look back on certain layouts and I will know what I was going through or how I was feeling when I scrapped it. That is what I love about this hobby...there is no one magical way to scrap and I am so in tune to my emotions that I totally scrap how I am feeling.

Here is a layout done just for my dad...more pictures from his retirement party last spring (I have a ton). I used a lot of Bella Blvd papers on this one.

Here is one of my favorite pictures I took of my son, Caleb, while sitting in the dugout last season. It was his first year to play ball and he loved every minute of it. Well, there will be more of these to come because it is ball season again and momma will be taking lots of pictures!!!!
