I have been sitting on this for weeks now and am now so excited to announce that 2 of my layouts have been picked up by Scrapbook News and Review E-zine. This is my first publication and hopefully there will be many more to come!!!!!!

Ok, I am somewhat of a blog stalker. I love to go and check out other people's blogs and just absorb all the inspiration I can stuff in my brain. Although I have never met Sasha Holloway in person, I have followed her work and sometimes chat with her on FB. Today I went to her blog and found this baby......

Ha Ha.....isn't that a riot?????? I can so relate. If I am not scrapping I've got my nose in a book. Thanks Sasha for making me laugh out loud!!!!!!!

I have a new layout to drop off. I've been playing with my fab August Creative kit from MCS. Speaking of MCS, Patti has a new color challenge going on over there. It will run from now through the end of September and knowing Pam like I do, I am sure the prize will be SPECTACULAR!!!!! So come on by and play with us, I promise we won't bite!

Back from Vacation

Wow, it has certainly been a while since my last post. Let's see....where to start. Well, first of all, my family and I spent an amazing 7 days in Florida. This is our 2nd time to go as a group and is the highlight of my year.

Next, I get home to not only recoop from my trip but to also fight off one of the worst summer colds I have ever had. That was not fun. But on the UP side, the sweet UPS man delivered my fab package from My Creative Scrapbook for me to play with for the next big reveal!!! Today all my children are back in school. It is very bittersweet to see them go. The largest amount of my emotions is dealing with the fact that my oldest son is a senior this year. Needless to say I am praying for a lot of peace for myself and protection for my son. Yesterday I was finally able to do some personal scrapping and worked on this layout of Landon. I titled it "Destination Unknown" because of the journey he is about to begin and the large decisions he will be making.
Hope that all of you have had an awesome summer!!!! I am believing for this to be a Great year for me and my family and I pray that good things come your way too!!!!!!!

Reveal Day

New Stuff

Look who had a productive weekend!!!! I finally sat down long enough to pull out some more layouts. Had a lot of fun and got to catch up on all my shows on my DVR.

Sneak Peeks!!!

Ok...I have been busting at the seams for days now so today I get to spill!!! First of all, one week ago today, Abigail was invited to audition for a panel of "big wigs" in the film industry. Oh wait, I am getting a little ahead of myself...Abigail, my baby girl, wanted to audition for Disney. At least that has been her dream for some time now. Being that we live in the Houston area I figured it was possible that there might be a time I could give her a nod in the right direction...just never figured it would actually happen. Abigail heard on the radio that auditions were being held at the Westin Galleria so she called the 1-800-number and handed the phone to me. Little did I know my next few days were going to be a whirlwind!!!! So to make a long story short, Abigail did a screen test and interview with some talent scouts and she got called back for the auditions in Orlando, FL. Can you believe it????? I know I sure can't. I know what your thinking...is this for real or some kind of scam? I was thinking the same thing and guess what...it is legit. Now me, my mom, and Abigail are going to spend six fabulous days in Orlando in December!!!! I don't know who is more excited...this is gonna be a blast!!!!!!

Did you think that was my exciting news???? Oh, that was just the tip of the iceberg!!!!! What are the sneak peaks for you ask??? Well, I was invited to Guest Design with one of the Hottest kit clubs in the scrap world!!!!! Who might you ask???? Well I'm going to tell ya!

Whooooohooooo...that's right....I got to work with the MCS girls and the fab owner Pam!!!!! But before I let you go to drool at some of the sneaky peeky sneaks, let me tell you my other fab news...Pam asked me to stay on for the rest of the year!!!!!! OMG!!!!
