I finally got over my aversion to Holiday layouts. It is really strange but I have always struggled with holiday and birthday layouts. But on my last shopping trip with one of my besties at the local Archiver's, I found a multitude of Christmas lovelies. With that purchase, I have been inspired to create.
I so love to look back on past Christmas' while my children were so much younger. Being that I didn't start scrapping until my oldest son was 14, I had a lot of catching up to do. I came across some pictures of my boys....Landon was 4 in one layout that I did yesterday and Caleb was a newborn ing the other.Wow, you blink and those moments are gone. I guess that is why scrapbooking is such a special gift that I give to myself so that we can all look back and remember all the special times we have shared as a family. Okay....enough of me blubbering on about the past. I am in a nostalgic state of mind.
This month I had the pleasure of designing with the fabulous Creative Kit over at My Creative Scrapbook. Once again, Pam has generously filled her kits with more than enough products to create numerous layouts, cards, or altered projects !!! If you have not subscribed to her kits, make it your Christmas gift to yourself!!!!! You will not be disappointed!
Also, My Creative Scrapbook is still continuing with their Sketch Contest. It is not to late to jump in and play along. There are individual prizes for each sketch and a grand Prize for the conclusion of the contest. Join in with us and play along TODAY!!!!!!
